Brave enough to speak gently with everything I have, all of me, if you come with me to listen.

I never change, always constant, always there.

I don’t get angry, upset or annoyed, no matter how loud, arrogant or full of anger you get.

Cheating and deceit no shadow you will find in me.

Possibly I am the hardest thing of all to walk with. More honest, open and raw than most can bear.

My reflection can tear you apart and with the next flicker of light can build you oh so strong.

To stay close to me a warrior you must be, for the path I take is not for the faint of heart.

To stay close to me takes the courage, to be often quiet and still.

Putting down yourself for the moment whatever the period as required.

Sometimes I challenge you to speak up, in different “ways” than before.

But throughout all, constant I remain…..

Sometimes even pushing you beyond those “comfortable areas” of your life.
