Cherish yourself in this thing called Life. Above all learn to love yourself, without causing harm to others. Love those around you, honour your parents and theirs. Honour all the family that comes before. For without them your mould, so perfectly you, wouldn’t be the same.
Be touched by this thing called Life.
Reach out, learn to listen first to family and friends. Learning the graceful art of listening without judgement, adding value, when asked. Don’t rush to derail another’s life, through your own Ego.
For your path is yours and yours alone.
Be touched by this thing called Life.
Don’t judge, be slow to anger, if ever, for you know not where your path may lead. For tomorrow you might replace those you cast judgement over, only to suffer the same at the hands of others.
Be touched by this thing called Life.
Learn to be present. To drink in and cherish each moment given. Yes, even those that hurt and cause distress. For all experiences good or ‘‘bad” are the teachers that craft the gem of who you are.
The Sun shines on the face, so warm, so full of life. The rain, the wind, the smells, the same. But also the knocks, scraps and discomfort that might come. For they are all the same. There to teach if aware enough you be.
Be touched by this thing called Life.
For you know not when this beauty may end.
Life, made so incredibly complicated by others it seems. Yet, credibly simple if you will let it be.
Life.
